DETAILS
Ballistic Shield Instructor Course is an instructor‑level training program designed to prepare qualified personnel to teach, evaluate, and certify operators in the effective deployment of ballistic shields during tactical, patrol, and high‑risk operations. This course emphasizes safe, efficient, and repeatable instructional methods while ensuring participants gain mastery in shield‑based tactics, curriculum development, and live‑fire range instruction.
Participants will learn modern shield doctrine, threat assessment, movement strategies, communication skills, and team-based integration techniques required for single‑officer, two‑officer, and full‑team applications. Through hands-on drills, live fire drills, force-on-force scenarios, and instructor-development modules, students will refine both their tactical proficiency and their ability to train others to a high standard.
Graduates will be capable of designing and delivering ballistic shield training programs for their agencies or organizations, including lesson planning, safety management, skills evaluation, and scenario-based training development. This course is ideal for law enforcement officers, tactical team members, military trainers, academy instructors, and agencies implementing shield programs for patrol or specialized units.
