Red Dot Pistol Applications
With more and more officers utilizing Red Dot (RDS) on their duty pistols, whether it is department issued or officer preference, there is a need for proper training to become better familiarized, confident, and more proficient. We have developed an in-depth 2 day course that will instill the fundamentals of shooting with RDS.
TOPICS
Zeroing your red dot, review of shooting fundamentals and how they apply with RDS, build confidence in your reticle and your shooting skill set, eliminate “fishing” for reticle, draw from holster and gain reticle efficiently and quickly, & target transitions. There will be a proficiency course of fire at the end of this course for individual evaluation purposes.
EQUIPMENT
Slide mounted red dot pistol, tactical/duty belt with quality holster and magazine pouches, at least 3 magazines, 800 rounds of reliable ammunition, eye and ear protection, and note taking material.
